The substrate

The Rust runtime carries agent identity, typed conversations, Git-backed memory, tool execution, context pressure, compaction and four processing positions: primary, subconscious, reflection and archivist. Its TUI and HTTP/SSE server are views onto the same stored conversation.

Current edge. Schedule creation and the CronSensor do not yet agree on their filesystem path, and manual trigger files are not consumed. The principal model is present in the runtime, while the intended per-agent Unix-account boundary has not been admitted on a real system.

Nervous system and authority

The EventBus, belief types and phone SomaticPlexus are implemented. Sessiond owns device state, named actions and a hash-chained forensic chronology; tools and surfaces act as clients of that authority.

Current edge. Belief and notability exist. Explicit impulse, intention and derived mood do not. Sessiond still runs inside the human user session rather than under the dedicated lock authority described by the design.

SouveraineOS and its bodies

The Pixel 3 is a daily-used Arch Linux body with a mainline-based custom kernel, signed package path, ViewTop session, LTE data, SMS, real two-way calls and live sensor work. The iPhone 7 reaches its NVMe root and a Souveraine session through the owned recovery and boot chain.

Current edge. The iPhone path remains host-tethered. Several phone features and newer package revisions still need installation or glass-level exercise before their source state can be called device behavior.

Federation and release

Configured peers can exchange signed events, and memory has per-instance branch and sync primitives. The public Forgejo is online as the release workshop and provenance surface.

Current edge. Node commissioning, revocation and branch reconciliation remain open. The checked Souveraine source projection is now anonymous, but not every component is public and the site does not presently claim a stranger can reproduce the whole system from a clean machine.
